Ultimate Fitness Muscle Supplement
Have you ever picked up and thumbed through a fitness and muscle magazine, and been faced with hundreds if not thousands of fitness muscle supplement ads? There are so many different varieties of supplements on the market today, it almost takes a college degree to know which ones to take and which one to avoid. However, there is one ultimate fitness muscle supplement, want to hear what it is?
Protein!
Hands down, this has always been and will most likely be, the most important fitness muscle supplement on the market. Protein provides the basic building blocks for muscles to grown larger and stronger. Without this protein fuel, muscles are left hungry, which has a tremendous impact on your muscle strength and growth.
Protein in itself can be confusing. There are protein supplements for weight gain, meal replacements, fat loss, performance, the list goes on and on. I’m going to offer my suggestions for my favorite types of proteins and give you a little explanation on why I chose them.
Weight Gainer
Prolab N-Large II – This is by far my favorite protein powder of all time. I’ve used this stuff consistenly for years, and never get sick of it. It’s got a great taste, it’s cheap, it’s easily soluble in water, and it packs a mean protein punch. I’m talking about 52g of Whey protein per serving! If you want to supercharge your muscle growth, this is the stuff for you my friend. I always order the 10lb bucket of Chocolate flavor, and with 30 servings, it can last you pretty long.
If you’re interesting in trying this out, there’s a smoking deal going on over at Bodybuilding.com. You get a 10lb bucket of N-Large2, along with a 100g bottle of Creatine Monohydrate. Mix this stuff in with your protein shake to give your muscles the ability to squeeze out that extra rep and get pumped! Click here to head over and check this deal out.
Low Calorie/Carb
AST VP2 – This is one of the highest quality whey protein powders you can find on the market today. It’s the latest and greatest “Hydrolyzed” whey protein, meaning the protein is already broken down to allow your body to digest quickly and get the protein delivered to your hungry muscles as quickly as possible. This particular product only has 105 calories per serving, and only 2g of carbs, so if you’re watching your weight but need a protein boost, this should be your number one choice. It offers 23.5g of protein isolate per serving.
Checking in at around $32 per 2lb jug, with 32 servings per jug, this one is a little cheaper per serving than the N-Large II, but you’re also getting about 1/2 the protein per serving. Want too get more info? Click here to check out VP2 at Bodybuilding.com.
Well folks, that gives you a brief run-down of a few of my favorite protein suplements. These are only 2 of many great protein supplements on the market today. If you’d like to get more information on proteins and the different types in the marketplace, I recommend heading over to Bodybuilding.com and checking out their Protein Finder. Click here to go now!
