Learn About Muscle Building Workouts
There are 2 types of muscle building workouts and deciding on which one to pursue will have a great impact on your results as well as body structure. If you want to learn about muscle building workouts and these 2 types of training, it’s a must that you continue reading.
When discussing muscle building workouts, there are typically two major variations: Endurance and Strength. These can be considered the far ends of the muscle building spectrum and there are lots of points in between.
Endurance Training – Generally will consist of weight training with lighter weights, but more reps in your sets, and less rest time in between sets. You’re essencially training your muscles to provide strength for extended periods of time, rather than short bursts of lot of strength. This training approach is generally used by people who need a steady stream of muscle strength, such as a person who participates in a Triathalon. Another key point to this type of muscle building is that you won’t get huge muscles, but instead get well-defined, lean muscles and a low percentage of body fat.
Strength Training – This type of muscle building typically includes weight training with heavier weights, less reps in your sets, and more rest time in between sets. This type of training is geared towards short bursts of great amounts of strength, and is also the best way to bulk up and get ripped muscles. This type of training is especially good for people who use their energy in quick bursts, such as linemen on a football team. You can still cut body fat very easily using this type of training technique, you just need to monitor what you’re taking in on a daily basis (ie: eating) to ensure the best results.
Usually people not necessarily pick one of these muscle building workouts or the other. Instead, it’s best to try to meet somewhere in the middle. Depending on your fitness goals, you may want to lean more towards the strength training, or vice-versa. It’s ultimately up to you on how you want to develop your muscular system and the results you’re looking for.
