From time to time, I like to give my readers a free workout tip. Sometimes this can be something very detailed, but more often it’s just a quick pointer to get you going in the right direction and to help maximize the returns from your muscle workout.

Today, the free workout tip is geared towards those people who are not only looking to get ripped muscles, but who are more importantly looking to cut fat and lose weight. For a lot of people, losing weight is the prime motivational force in sticking to a muscle workout program. As some as you may know, cutting weight can be very difficult and often times people can become discouraged to sticking to their fitness routine if they don’t see quick results.

So without further ado, here’s your free workout tip for today:

  • In order to burn the maximum amount of fat, schedule your muscle workout routine first thing in the morning.

For some this may be obvious, for others, maybe not, so let me explain. When you go to bed, your body continues to use up any stored calories to fuel your basic body functions throughout the night. This means that when you wake up, your body is somewhat depleted of these calories. Making sense yet? If not, don’t worry.

If your body is low on stored food/calories, your body will turn to using stored fat for energy during an intense workout. If you schedule your muscle workout routine to be first thing in the morning, your body will be a fat burning machine! This can make HUGE differences in losing weight, and if you follow your fitness routine and exercises for a few weeks, I guarantee you’ll see a difference.

There are additional benefits to working out in the morning as well. It allows your body to become energized, and will help power you through the rest of your day with lots of energy. Having lots of energy, in turn, leads to burning additional fat and an increased metabolism. Another benefit of working out in the morning is getting it out of the way. I know a lot of people who have great intentions of following a muscle workout routine, but when it comes down to it they’re too tired or they find excuses to avoid their exercises. If you get up a little earlier in the morning, you can get your workout out of the way for the day and go about your business as usual. This avoids creating excuses in the afternoon on why you can’t workout today.

I strictly follow this free workout tip and always schedule my workout routines for first thing in the morning, it’s a great way to start the day and I find it helps keep me honest and following my muscle workouts regularly. If you’re currently working out in the afternoon or evening, I suggest giving a few morning exercise sessions a shot and see the results for yourself. I guarantee it will make you think twice.
